I’ve bet the last 4 years of my life on the simple fact that Cryptocurrencies can change the world.

In 2020, I decided it’s time to start doing more to actually help make that a reality.

Partnering with Utrust was an obvious choice and I’m delighted to be able to share this with everyone.

What is Utrust?

Put simply, Utrust allows you to start accepting cryptocurrencies like you accept traditional fiat currency.

Let’s take an example.

You own a local ballet studio, and you recognize that many customers would like to pay for dance classes in Bitcoin. But you also recognize that receiving and storing crypto is a hassle and you’re frightened by the volatility in the markets (e.g., what if the value of your crypto goes down after a buyer pays you for a dance class? I don’t want to lose money!)

What if you could enjoy the benefit of accepting crypto from a buyer without having to worry about storing crypto or converting it into fiat. That’s Utrust.

How Does Utrust Work?

1. You integrate Utrust into your payment processing system. Utrust has seamless integration so you don’t have to wait and can set this up even if you’re not crypto savvy.

2. A buyer pays for your product or service using their crypto. A flat 1% fee is added onto the buyer’s end of the transaction. This means you increase your profits from each sale. Utrust converts this crypto into fiat in real time at the best possible rate.

3. The fiat is held in escrow for a holding period. The purpose of this holding period is to ensure that there is no dispute from the buyer or seller and prevent fraud. This acts as a fraud protection system.

4. If there is no evidence of fraud, funds are released from escrow and you receive payment in fiat currency (exactly like you would have if someone paid you in fiat from the beginning)!

5. Finally, you have access to a Utrust merchant dashboard that allows you to check order details, view transactions, manage refunds and settlements, and more in a smooth user experience.

6. **BONUS** The new Hold app, which will be entirely powered by Utrust, will have more features including buying and selling digital currencies, making seamless payments online and offline, and will grant you access to a VISA debit card for shopping in-store with rewards all in one app.

Is Utrust for You?

Utrust powers businesses in 180+ countries across nearly every industry with support for more than 30% of global currencies. If you’re a business owner who understands the ins and outs of the crypto industry, is willing to hold crypto on your balance sheet, and accepts the risk of market volatility if and when you convert to fiat, then you may not need Utrust.

If, however, you want the benefit of accepting crypto from over 50 million global users but wish to avoid the hassle of storing and converting it into fiat and you are looking for such a solution with built in protection to curb fraud, then wecan confidently recommend our partner Utrust as the powerful solution.
